30-second frozen-time film, 16:9. THREE REFERENCES, EACH WITH ITS OWN JURISDICTION — none governs what another owns.
@Image1 = THE PERSON ONLY: face, black bob, tortoiseshell sunglasses on her head, gold hoops, red lip, powder-blue blazer and shorts, cream knee socks, oxblood loafers. 100% identical in EVERY shot.
@Image2 = THE LOCATION ONLY: a desert pad at dawn, a white rocket frozen three seconds into lift-off. Governs setting only — never the person or coffee.
@Image3 = ONE PROP ONLY: a small aluminium stovetop coffee pot tipped in mid-air, an arc of coffee hanging into a white cup. Governs its shape, finish and SIZE — fist-sized, never a kettle.
Original person, no real IP.
THE RULE: the whole world is frozen at one instant — rocket, plume, spray, grit, birds, papers, dust, coffee, the toppling chair. NOTHING moves or drifts before the snap. She is the ONLY thing that moves.
HER: total composure — unhurried, faintly amused, as though a frozen rocket launch were an ordinary Tuesday. Easy baddie stance.
WORLD: orange-ochre desert, mesas, pink gantry, white blockhouse, cactus, concrete apron and white railing. Wes Anderson, chalky pastel palette, dawn light left.
SHOTS — 10 cuts. Handheld operator weight throughout; slow and deliberate while frozen, violent at the resume.
0–4s OPENING, 35mm at GROUND LEVEL, lens on the sand. Frozen desert floor: pebbles hanging motionless above the ground, grit suspended mid-air. Her oxblood loafers and cream socks walk INTO frame from the LEFT, past the hanging stones. Only her feet move.
MATCH CUT IN ACTION on her stride to
4–8s SIDE TRACKING 40mm chest height, travelling right to left as she walks to the pad, her at x40%. Dust and spray pass between lens and subject. She walks straight through the cloud; it does not part.
8–12s 75mm three-quarter, the frozen coffee pot and its arc at x55%, her beyond. The pot is small — fist-sized, no taller than her hand. Without breaking stride she lifts the cup off the arc, pinky out. The stream hangs, pouring into nothing.
12–15s 85mm close, her face x50%, the abandoned arc behind. She sips, one slow blink.
15–18s MEDIUM 50mm. THE MINT FOLDING CHAIR IS FROZEN IN MID-AIR — tipped back thirty degrees, all four legs clear off the concrete, daylight visible beneath them. She sits into it as though it were solid, one leg crossed. It does not settle under her.
18–22s 65mm on a paper sheet suspended at eye level x45%. Her hand flicks it. It drifts a few centimetres in slow zero-g rotation and stops. She smiles.
22–24s WIDE 28mm low from the ground, her small at x20%, rocket above. She sets the cup down, faces the rocket, raises a hand.
24–25s MATCH CUT IN ACTION to ECU 100mm, her raised hand filling frame. She snaps her fingers. TIME RESTARTS ON THE SNAP.
25–25.8s THE WHIP OUT — the most violent camera move in the film. The camera RIPS backwards from her hand ALL THE WAY OUT TO AN EXTREME WIDE 24mm in well under a second, her small and centred at x50%, the frame smearing into radial motion blur, then arriving hard and STOPPING DEAD. Never a gentle pull-back. From the instant it lands the camera is LOCKED OFF and never moves again.
25.8–30s THE RESUME, AT FULL NORMAL SPEED, held on that locked extreme wide to the last frame. Everything releases at once and keeps running at real-time speed: the plume detonates outward, grit and papers whip away, birds scatter, the chair completes its fall, the coffee drops into the cup, the rocket climbs hard and keeps climbing. SHE DOES NOT MOVE AND DOES NOT WALK — she holds her stance dead still, feet planted, the snapping hand still raised, unbothered while the world detonates behind her. The world is STILL VISIBLY MOVING AT FULL SPEED in the final frame — rocket climbing, debris travelling, nothing settling. The camera is locked and the composition resolved; the motion lives inside a still frame. Never a chop mid-camera-move.
PHYSICS: while frozen, only what she touches responds. Each object then resumes from where it hung.
LIGHTING: one hard low sun camera left at 2800K; long hard shadows on every suspended object.
AUDIO: almost silence while frozen — footsteps on grit, the cup leaving the stream, one sip, the paper flick, one low tone. Not a sound from the frozen world. ON THE SNAP everything arrives at once: engine roar, debris, birds, wind. It peaks and STAYS BIG at full intensity, still roaring at the last frame. No music.
LOCKS: she is the only person. She never runs, never looks startled, never leaves frame. NO SLOW MOTION ANYWHERE AND NO SPEED RAMP. Before the snap the world is STOPPED, not slow; after the snap it runs at FULL NORMAL SPEED. There is no deceleration, no easing of speed, and no slow motion at any point. NO ON-SCREEN TEXT: no titles, captions, end card, logos, watermark, or lettering on any prop or rocket. Not a single readable word.
